La Droguerie is a choice of thousands of buttons, beads, ribbons, and hundreds of colors of pretty knitting yarns. Unfortunately, we cannot present them all on the Internet. This website offers our latest new products as well as a selection of essential items. If you have a special request, use the contact form with the subject “Search for a product”, specifying your search as much as possible. We will do our best to find the rare pearl ;-).
You choose the amount of the gift card. Write down the recipient's email address and possibly your first name and a message. After confirmation and payment of your order, we will send the card by email to the person of your choice. You can also add your first name and a short message that will accompany the gift card. If you prefer, we will send the gift card to your email address, leaving you to give it yourself.
The gift card is sent by email immediately after the order is paid with the title “You have received a gift card”. If you do not receive this email, check your “Spam” or “Junk” folder. The email may take a few minutes to arrive.
The gift card contains a code. When placing a future order on the La Droguerie website, simply add items to the basket. In the basket or when confirming the order, click on "I have a promo code or gift card". Simply enter the card code and confirm. The card can be used multiple times until the remaining credit is used up or the card expires (6 months).

Machine wash
Some machines have a good 30˚ wool program, others don't. It's better to try washing a small knitted piece of your wool (your sample for example) and put this piece in the machine rather than your knitting. Be careful with rinsing that is too cold. Dry flat. The “100% vegetal” yarns wash very well in the 30˚ machine.
Hand wash
With normal detergent and without temperature shock: therefore with lukewarm water (and not cold).
A light spin in a towel and flat drying: your knit will keep all its splendor.
The soap
The beautiful materials from La Droguerie are maintained with the Genuine Organic Marseille Soap. Biodegradable, hypoallergenic, healthy and natural, it leaves the laundry very soft.
Pour a tablespoon of “Savon de Marseille bio” flakes into a sock. Tie it. Put it in the washing machine or sink with your laundry. The flakes will melt during the wash. Economical, a tablespoon is enough for one wash and the excess soap will remain in the sock for a new use.
Ironing knitwear
Especially jacquards, before and after sewing. An ironed knit immediately becomes more regular. Avoid any thermal shock.
Iron without steam on the reverse side with a damp cloth to protect the knit from felting.
Our beautiful materials don't like:
– rinsing with ice water
– the temperature differences!
– steam irons that are too hot, the enemy of softness!
Warning: felted wool can never be repaired. There is nothing more to do!…
